Is “fat” all you got? – 9 traits worse than “fat”

I don’t know about you, but I love watching Twitter fights go down (when I’m not a part of it of course).

My favorite fights to watch are the ones where one person obviously has no idea what they are talking about and the other has a solid argument and viewpoint, but yet the clueless one insists that they are right.

It always seems that someone has to cave and resort to the best possible way to win an argument: insulting someone’s appearance.

If you are a woman, it seems that this is usually a go to. People often decide they need to point out your appearance to make you seem like less of a person (as if you don’t already know what you look like).

The most commonly used word – and the most annoying – that seems to be thrown at women is “fat.”.

Now let me just say this,

The word hurts. A lot. But I think we need to take a step back and realize, that you are so much more than your body type or a number on a scale. In fact, I would be much more hurt to have my entire being and my personality insulted. If you aren’t picking up what I’m putting down, here are 9 traits that I think are much worse than being “fat.”

  1. Rude
  2. Shallow
  3. Cruel
  4. Inconsiderate/Selfish
  5. Lazy
  6. Stupid
  7. Vindictive
  8. Disloyal
  9. Jealous

The next time someone is stupid enough to call you “fat,” remember that your appearance is not the end all be all of life. You should feel confident and happy in your skin no matter your size or physical appearance. Their insults say more about them than it does about you.

I would much rather have bad eyebrows and some thick thighs than be a bad person. (But that’s just me personally)

Your accomplishments and your personality are what actually matters.
If someone has to insult your appearance to win an argument, they immediately forfeit.
